Fees:
My fee is $121.05 with a Mental Health Care Plan
My standard session fee reflects the time, expertise, and care I bring to my work, but I also understand that cost can be a barrier for some. If you are experiencing financial hardship, I am open to discussing your situation to explore options that may make therapy more manageable for you. Please feel free to reach out so we can have a conversation about what works best for your needs.
Payment and Medicare rebates can be processed at the end of each session.
Medicare Rebates:
1. Better Access Initiate:
You will most likely be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) which can fund $98.95 per session for up to ten sessions per calendar year.
2. Chronic Disease Management Plan
You will most likely be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan (previously called an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan) which can fund $60.35 per session for up to five sessions per calendar year.
Rebates increase further if you have reached the Medicare safety net threshold.
Please speak to your GP in order to discuss your eligibility for both plans.
Insurance Rebates:
Psychology services can attract a private health insurance rebate for part of this fee with extras cover (please check with your insurance provider). You can use private health insurance cover in addition to Medicare rebates (but not to claim twice for the same service) and you do not need a referral from a medical practitioner to qualify.
Mindfulness Rebates:
Yes, rebates are available when you complete Mindfulness training. Please speak to me in person to ascertain the correct item numbers for the available rebates.
Cancellation Policy:
I would appreciate your help in supporting this community in need of appointments by providing me with sufficient notice to book other clients if you cannot attend.
Please provide 24-hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule appointments (you can text or email throughout the weekend and evenings also).
Fees for cancellations within 24-hours are 100% of the usual fee.
Payment for late cancellations are required prior to your next appointment.
